JBSpeaks...at last

Welcome to JBSpeaks!

Over the last few years, many people have commented on the award show "wrap ups" that I have written and sent out to friends. Some enjoyed them so much they suggested it be something I do for a living. Unfortunately, there aren't many places willing to pay inexperienced writers about their opinions on red-carpet fashion and Joan Rivers' embarrassing faux-pas (otherwise I would be dripping in diamonds and too busy laying on a beach in St. Tropez to bother with you people).
So, when someone suggested I start a blog, it made me think. First, what the hell is a blog and secondly, would any one care to read it? Well, obviously I figured out the first part and I'm hoping the rest of you can help me with the second. Each week (possibly more, once I get the hang of this) I'll post my thoughts on a subject. It may range in subject from "Why women, under no circumstances EVER, should wear hose with open-toed shoes" to more serious current events such as, "Michael Jackson- is it wrong I still enjoy his music? (the early stuff anyway)". There will be an opportunity for all you budding journalists like myself to post your thoughts, and feel free to suggest a weekly topic.
So for everyone out there who has been bugging me about wasted talent (your words, not mine) here it is. The debut edition of JB Speaks. Hope you like it...

Thanks for all the great comments. As for the TV Land Awards- I only watched the part with the cast from 90210, except they had a drag queen standing in for Tori Spelling...no wait, that was Tori Spelling. Anyway, its tough to review particular shows- some people may not watch and therefore not care to read about it. There are also a lot of shows I don't watch, contrary to popular belief (i.e. The OC, Lost). But I will do my best to keep up with the awards shows. But remember, not everything has to be about TV! Thanks and keep reading! JBSpeaks
